We had one for our X23B for 2.5 yrs and had no real complaints. It was easy to hook up but the spring perches did walk a bit on one side. It was installed by a dealer and a little tightening solved the issue.

I hear the E2 is okay but there are better ones. Hensley (too much $$) and Equal-i-zer come to mind, I put the Equal-i-zer on mine and can't believe how good it pulls the TT without any sway at all. It has 4 points of sway control and keeps the TT straight even in a 40mph cross wind (that was the day I pulled the new TT 85 miles home).Good luck on your purchase and enjoy!!

The dealer made me a "deal" on the Fastway E2 when I purchased my trailer. I will say it's just okay. My problem with it is that I'm at my maximum on the hitch with little to no extra capacity (1000/10000 with round bars, last weigh in, TW was about 950). It does distribute the weight properly, and it does control sway pretty well as far as I can tell, so I just can't say it's a "bad" hitch because it's not.

If I had it to do over again, I would negotiate for an Equal-i-zer 1200/12000 with trunnion bars (Fastway doesn't have a 1200/12000 in this configuration). Not that there's anything particularly wrong with the E2; it IS easy to use, and quality seems to be pretty good. But I just think there are better hitches for not a lot more money. And in my eyes, the hitch is not somewhere to cheap out... All this being said, replacing my E2 with an Equal-i-zer is on my short-list of purchases.
