First tow with the 2014 Ram 2500

The truck is a new 2014 Ram 2500 with 6.4 4x4 3.73 rear end.

Will we went and picked up are 2001 313 RKS. Did a about 120 miles pulling the trailer. I am not sure what the trailer weights. I think about 7500 lbs. Truck did good you can tell it did not have the torque the diesel but it di good.

Got 15.5 with out the trailer. It did 7.5 on the Hwy. at 65 MPR and 8.4 at 55. With pulling the trailer. Lots of hills, lots of side wind and some head wind.

Over all I am pleased with the truck.

Thanks for the feedback on the 6.4L, there has been a fair amount of buzz going around on this new Hemi........, we need some more big gasser's

From what I understand the new Hemi 6.4L presently has the highest torque and horsepower ratings with the Big-Three gassers.

Are those the published weights for a 2001 313RKS, or possibly the model year is a typo on the OP's part......, meant to state 2011 (?).

These are from my 2008 313RKS. Now that I have my glasses on, I see the OP has a 2001
