Front Hitch Ratings

I have a curt front hitch on my 2012 150, its rated for 300/3000. My 244bhsw tips the scales at 6200 as towed and 800tw.

I'm sure the front hitch rating is for while driving down the road and I wonder if I'm ok to use it just for pushing the trailer into the driveway - my parking space is very small and the street also so the extra control and visibility of pushing it in would help.

Opinions and thoughts please...

I can't imagine this wouldn't be ok. These hitches must have a crazy safety factor built in. On the road they have to deal with bounces and wind and up hill and down hil, etc Surely that one has plenty of strength for pushing a trailer into a space.
