Frontier to Titan

Love the Jay Feather 197 and drove it home last weekend in some gusty winds and hills. It handled ok, but I just didnt feel I had the power I really needed. Call me crazy, but made an offer on a Titan today. Wife and I are planning a trip out west and I'd feel more at ease with the Titan.

I will be soliciting gas money once I pick it up. I will post truck and trailer pics once I get the truck home.

You cannot have too much truck.

Better Deal

Well, on the way to the Nissan dealer saw a nice F-150 sitting on display as I was passing Ford dealer. Got a better deal, 2009, 5.4 V8, trailer tow package, and loaded with only 18K miles. So I am back to Ford with only driving the Nissan for a year. As soon as I sat in the seat, I knew. Great ride and think it will pull the Jayco much better than the Frontier.

First camping trip with the camper next Thurs-Sun. Time will tell.

It's beginning to look like Nissan-Honda-Toyota-Mitsubishi parts and replacements are going to get pretty hard to find pretty soon so probably a good choice.

You would be amazed at how many items in domestic vehicles come from Japan. A lot of computers, air bags, fuel injection systems, ignition systems, etc.
