Gooseneck Adapter - Andersen Ultimate 5th Wheel Connection

I made a video of the Andersen Ultimate 5th Wheel Connection to help answer any questions people may have about how easy it is to use with your 5th wheel when you have a gooseneck hitch.

The benefits for me:
  • More affordable
  • Lighter weight
  • No need for a slider in short bed truck
  • Easy to remove from truck

Great video!

I'm currently in the market for a hitch, and havent decided yet. My question is, how much adjustment up and down would I have to get my fiver to tow level? Fiver is more than likely going to be the 325BHQS w/Mor/Ryde Pinbox, being hitched to a '14 Ram 2500 SB.

My other question is, how hard of an install is it? Could I install myself?

Thanks for any insight you can give.

The hitch has 3 holes for the ball. I have the ball all the way down in the hitch. I have a 4x4 F250 so it sits a little too high for the trailer to be level and I have nothing else to adjust, but it's not bad.

It's super easy to install. The block that goes on the king pin has 4 set screws and 2 bolts that go through it that clamps to the king pin.

The hitch hitself just clamps to your gooseneck ball with a bolt on top to pull up on the ball and 2 set screws to lock it in place.
