Gooseneck ball

Looking at the possibility of going back to a 5er. I still have the rails and hitch from my old TV. But, considering getting a gooseneck ball installed on my new TV. Then going with the Andersen gooseneck version of their hitch.

For those who have had a gooseneck installed in their TV...I assume it was nothing major? Say, no more than installing rail kits.

Cost?

Thanks...

Talk to the warranty dept at Jayco. Be sure the model of the rig will support the flex. I was cautioned from my dealer that it might void the warranty.

It is not a true gooseneck set up...like used on horse trailers etc. The gooseneck ball is used as an anchor for the 5th wheel hitch. The ball is used in place of rails.

Have a B&W turnover ball installed and then you can use the Anderson or check out the Reese Goosebox hitch. My son started with the Anderson that is still in my garage 4 SALE when he switched to the Goosebox by Reese

Looks like the Reese replaces the box on the 5th wheel?
