Hayes Sway Master

Has anyone had the chance to use or see the new Hayes Sway Master? Since we bought a 2016 JayFlight without the "new" sway control from Jayco, we are considering it. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about it.
Here's the link to their website:

I watched the video of the Hayes unit and was thinking such is very close in price to the Jayco factory installed unit however, I am not a fan of drilling into the A-frame as specified with the Hayes unit so, I do not see an advantage not going with the factory Jayco unit especially if one's unit is factory wired for such. The Hayes unit may be a consideration for those older Jayco units that are not factory pre-wired and this is where my knowledge ends because I do not know how the Jayco sway control unit would be installed w/o factory pre-wiring however, I can say that if the Jayco sway control unit can be or is installed without drilling into the A-frame, I would go Jayco all the way.

This is all IMO:
As I understand it...
The Hayes unit applies all trailer brakes at the same time to counteract sway.
The Jayco unit applies trailer brakes only 1 side at a time to counteract sway.

Both units are designed to prevent catastrophic loss of control... just before the 'excrement hits the air movement device' (aka SHTF). But neither unit does anything to stop/dampen the initial 'wiggle'. If they reacted to initial 'wiggles', for some (many?) they might accelerate trailer brake wear.

Trailer hitch anti-sway devices are friction devices intended to begin dampening/stopping the initial 'wiggle' well before things get out of control. These devices also help keep the rig straight on the road from the 'push' of passing trucks, crosswinds, etc. By doing that, the hitch anti-sway devices also tend to reduce many uncomfortable 'white knuckle' drives.

With the current technology (as I understand it) the Jayco and Hayes units can be added as an additional safety measure. I haven't seen evidence they are a substitute for trailer hitch anti-sway devices.

(These are my opinions and worth every cent you paid for them. )
