I plan on doing this to get a baseline as soon as the new truck gets enough mileage I can hook up and tow the trailer. Then I can start adjusting...

Bob, thank you for the guidance,

Colby,

I followed this sticky once I had my weights.

https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f...v-tt-3871.html

I carried some fire wood with me in a plastic tote In the bed of the truck. Now I know I need to move that tote to the back of the trailer, everything else lines up

Eric,

I've been following that thread for a while since I learned that I knew nothing after I bought my trailer... I used that thread to make sure that I was within the numbers. Now I have a new TV to play with that will allow me not to be the weight police

I also use the worksheet from here (https://fifthwheelst.com/rv-weighing-worksheet.html) as a base and I have a couple of spreadsheets I play with once I have the numbers. The one that I found that is quite useful I've attached here (I've started filling out some numbers, but I haven't weighed it yet...), hopefully it's helpfull to someone (Just passing it along, I got this from Reddit...)
