Highlander towing 174bh

I just bought a 2017 174BH and I am towing with 2014 Highlander

I ordered a E2 round bar WDH system 600TW/6000pound

my hitch shop just called me and said they have a Equalizer 4 point system in stock they can give me at the same price.

only thing is it's rated 400TW / 4000 pounds.

I am wondering if this is too close to the max weight or is this ok?

my TV can do 5000 pounds and max 500 pounds TW. (i know i am not close to that nor do i want to be)

thank you for any input.

What are the 174BH ratings? If it is rated to more than 4k# then you need the 600/6000.

It''s dry 3000 pounds and GVRW is 3500 so i think it's that is fine but worried about the TW

Dry TW is 280 but i think with the stuff loaded it should be close to 400 i think

I would go with the E2 for a little more TW margin. If you load to max and have 13% tongue weight, you are at 455# tongue weight.
