Poppy if you wish to know exactly what you have for a final gear ratio.. put the rear end of the truck up on axle stands, transfer case in N mark your tires at the 6 o'clock position and the drive shaft the same way... then start turning the driveshaft count how many full revolutions the driveshaft does to on rev of the wheels.. that is your new ratio..
On another note have you made sure your trailer is still level towing.. if its tipped up it is putting too much stress on the rear trailer axle.
