Husky centreline wdh

This past week my daughter used our trailer. When they arrived at their campsite, the pin that holds in the one of the trunnions bars was bent. Anyone have any idea why?

Which end and can you describe how it wound up looking? Do you have a picture of the bent pin?

It is the end that you insert into the head. The d lock pin holds it in. The pin bent in the middle making it very difficult to remove

That trunion to hitch head is a pretty tight fit. I've had my husky centerline in near 90* turns and up and down some pretty steep inclines with no bent D clips. I would call manufacturer...
