Jayco 161 weight distribution

Hey all, new member here, I just got a Jayco 161 octane, It has a rack on tongue for a generator and battery, I quickly found out my EZ hitch,weight ditribution hitch will not fit due to the expanded metal rack on the front . is there any other weight distribution hitches that will somehow fit on this model?

Take a look at the Anderson. The way that it uses chains instead of bars, it allows a little more flexibility in mounting. They even offer an extended chain kit if you have to move the brackets farther back than what the factory kit offers.

I have the instructions from mine over at my shop. When I get over there later today, I'll take a look at the recommend distances they have listed for mounting the brackets back from the ball to see if it would work for you.

Thnxs for the response... I called my local hitch shop, they had these chain plates that bolt thru frame rail in stock.. I installed this afternoon.
