Locking a Honda CRV while it is being towed

In the past I have been able to lock the drivers side door manually with the key in the ignition. Recently that has changed. Anyone know why?

What year of CRV? Does it have an auto unlock key fob? Is it to close to the vehicle?

It is a 2014 CRV. It doesn't have a fob and in the past I was able to manually lock the drivers door with the key in the ignition. This would work if the car was running or in the accessories mode.

My guess is that you got lucky and managed to de-program or change the auto lock features. I'd Google up the process and run through it to make sure it's set right.
