Minor wandering

I am wondering if maybe my senses are just a little more heightened since I have proper tow mirrors now. I seem to get a slight side to side wiggle with my TT at highway speeds. It doesn't move the truck- at least not noticeably- but it is noticeable in the mirrors.
It's a 26' Jayfeather 254 EXP and a BlueOx sway pro. Hitch is set properly as best I can tell- returned the fender height to unloaded measurements.

Is a little lateral movement like this to be expected?

Yup, I wouldn't worry about it.

Make sure that the trailer weight ratio is at least 60/40 ahead of the axle of the trailer. too much weight to the rear will cause sway.

We'll see how it goes now that I rid myself of those duratracs. We always load nose heavy to avoid this- so hopefully will be better for our trip now. Our tt has a rear slide out- dry tw is exactly 11% of dry weight, so enough weight forward should help. The tw only settles the suspension on my Ram 1500 an inch- needs to be heavier.

Visit a CAT scale under loaded TV/TT conditions, the only way to confirm your weights, cargo placement, and WDH adjustment..... no guessing involved

Last trip over the MOT scales (no CAT scales here) showed me at 3564 FA and 3564 RA on the tow vehicle, 4750 combined trailer axle. I use my sherline religiously to watch tongue weight- which loaded is 680lbs.

After going from 8 loose to 9 loose there was a noticeable difference. The BFGs aren't as "grabby" as the duratracs which was really evident on a highway trek right after the switch. Hopefully this makes the difference.

Quick follow up, we just completed our 2 week stay in Cypress, and with the WDH dialed in and the replacement of the Duratracs, the combo was solid as a rock. We passsed and were passed by many semi units- some of them the dual 53 footers, and it barely made the rig twitch. Rolled over the MOT scales on the way out and back in and... well... I don't want to talk about it...

Try moving some of the heavier stuff forward in the RV to increase the tongue weight. This should eliminate the sway.
