What type of add on mirrors does everyone use to tow there travel trailer?

Don't know about other vehicles but on my 150 the cipa,s install easy and i like the look.

When I had my Toyota Tacoma I used CIPA Door Mount mirrors.

I wanted custom cipa slide-on mirrors, but they are not available for the Frontier. I used the universal clip-on ones with my popup, but upgraded to Milenco Aero 2 mirrors for the hybrid. They are great! Better visibility, no vibration.....

What kind of tow vehicle do you have? If it's a truck, I would look at the factory tow mirrors as an option. They work so much better. Shop Craigslist and Ebay for a deal on a used set.

CIPA slide-ons when I had my 2003 Silverado. Not needed with my F-250. Still have them if someone wants to buy them cheap.

I ordered a set of K-source custom 'snap on' tow mirrors. $50 from e-trailer. Just couldn't pull the trigger on factory replacements @ $350 without trying them first. They were highly recommended on the Ram site. Can't wait for them to get here so I can try them out.

After years searching for the perfect towing mirrors, I finally found these made by Milenco:

I was tired of the suction cup mirrors that kept falling off in the wind. These mirrors are perfect for those who have odd shapped vehicle mirrors (like the Ford Explorer).

I bought oem replacement tow mirrors from ebay. $100 for the pair, includes motors to adjust top mirror from truck, not the bottom mirror though (manual adjustment) I can slide them in and out, depending on trailer and they work great.

I bought a set of these Milenco on Amazon. Originally I thougt I would like them. They attach very well, but need to check to check the thumb nuts as they do vibrate loose (not to a point where they fall off, just need snugged). What I don't like is the vibration, one of them doesn't hold it's position as it vibrates down at the pivot point of the mirror (no bad, but enough to be apain.

It's taking me some time to get use to how far they stick out. I keep looking at door mirror, then realize how far away they are from that point. IMO, I think I would look for something a little different f ($95.00 is what we paid for these.

CIPA from Amazon $49.00. Work fine for Tundra, no vibration.

I broke down on my Tundra and called Sparks Toyota and bought OEM tow mirrors. They run about 275.00 each, but well worth it. There are knock offs on Ebay for around 150.00 each, but there are a lot of people that complain that the electronic adjustment in the mirror is off and does not work like a factory mirror. That was one of the better upgrades on my truck.
