Post My Weight Analysis Spreadsheets

I've created a couple of weight analysis spreadsheets. One for a 5th and another for a Bumper-pull. Guess I've got too much time on my hands.

Nice and clean looking, I also track max tongue weight of my hitch receiver, not that I'll ever be close.

It is interesting to me that we worry so much about this nowadays. Not necessarily in a bad way, just interesting. Remember back when we just hooked up and drove? And if you had a dually you could tow anything. This topic has gotten very complicated. Nice clean looking spreadsheets!

Thanks! I did my first one for the X23B and was surprised how close on the rear axle I was. Basically I just started throwing numbers on the sheet and doing a few calcs. When we upgraded to the 5th I made the 2nd sheet and kept tinkering with it until I liked the look. Just recently I overhauled the first sheet and made it look like the newer one.

Looks great red horse1. I've though about doing this myself...but not enough spare time! Can you post in a downloadable format?

I'm happy to share.
I can't post an Excel Spreadsheet so I've posting it as a ZIP file. There are 2 versions included, an ".XLS" and ".XLSX". The XLS should work with older versions of Excel and the XLSX with the newer versions. The boxes with "GREEN" fill (Column "I") are my attempt to show Over/Under weights (RED being over weight). Some of the Conditional Formatting may be lost in the XLS version but that's just window dressing.
Each spreadsheet has 2 tabs, one for a 5th and one for a bumper-pull.
The cells I intend to be changed have a "RED" outline and currently contain the numbers from our HTT (now gone) and 5th.
I have hidden column "M" just to make it a little more tidy.

Feel free to make any changes you like (including the title).

Please note that though I believe my calculations are correct I do not guarantee them to be error free. If you find errors please let me know so I can update the sheets.

SBL, I would be interested to hear if our calculations give different results.

Weight Analysis-v3.0.zip

If you have trouble with the ZIP file send me a PM with a return e-mail and I'll send an unzipped copy directly to you.

Redhorse,

Your sheet is more detailed but shows the same numbers for tongue weight. I'm about 100lbs light. I'm going to transfer some weight forward for the next trip. Thanks again.

Trailer sheet looks real good to me. Easy to use, better laid out my current sheet.
Thanks for posting.
