Need help with ball height

Hey guys

Got my new Jayco 27BHS a few weeks ago and have a feeling my WD is not set up properly

Im towing with my Ram 1500 Crew Cab with 3.92 gears and got the dealer to set me up with Reese Dual Cams.

Now the Dealer took care in settings up but both the TT and TV where dry and even then, the front of the trailer seemed a bit low to me but they assured me all was fine.

Now I have both the TT and TV loaded up and im sure the front of the trailer is too low. I was thinking of raising the ball up a notch and im wondering if I raise it, would it impact the Cams?

New to all of this so any help would be nice.

And sorry for my English.. French Canadian tring his best )

I don't have a Reese but raising the ball will change my WDH settings a small amount as I take measurements while adjusting.

One thing to note, if your Ram has the auto-air suspension, there is a very specific procedure to set your hitch up *before* dialing in the WDH.

The trailer should be close to level. Did they give you the instructions for the hitch, they are very helpful in setting it up at least they were for me. Raising the ball changes the geometry and you may have to make other adjustments.
