New tire recomendations

I have an 15 F350 powerstroke 4x4 and need to replace my rubber! I have a set of BFG AT KO2's atm and like the tire but at only 40k kms they need replacing. I need an AT tire for traction up here in the Great White North but would like a bit longer life tire. What other tires do people like out there?

I'm a huge fan of Michelins. I have installed 3 sets on 3 separate vehicles and couldn't be happier. They wear VERY well, run quiet, tough as nails.

I'm sorry, I can't speak to how well they do in snow/ice as we don't have that down here. But I put some on my Ram 2500 which I used off-road and for towing/hauling a lot and they did great. I have a set on my Jeep Grand Cherokee now, and they've done just fine for the little bit of off-roading I've done since I've owned it. Put a set on DW's old X-Terra, and they were great there as well.

DW just got a Tahoe that has GY Wranglers on it; they're kind of loud (can't really hear them at HW speed though which is a testament to GM's noise-cancelling tech). My Wrangler also wears the GY Wranglers, and those tires are loud, but it's a YJ, so that doesn't really matter, it's all part of the "experience"! I was thinking when the time comes to put new shoes on the Tahoe, I would put BFG A/T KO2s on there, but perhaps not after what you said...

ETA: It was the Michelin LTX A/T2 I put on my Ram 2500 that I loved so much.

Try this web site to help decide. It's a U.S. company but has lots of reviews and information on tires. Select tires and input your vehicle specifics. Once you have a list of available tires for your vehicle, you can compare reviews and ratings for your driving needs.

Good traction in sn*w or long life you cannot have both... Personally I would go with Blizzacks in the winter and summers the rest of the time..

I recently put on Falken Wildpeak AT3/W the traction so far has been outstanding, they are wearing extremely well too. Keep in mind I have a 2WD DUALLY and tow through the Rockies. I’ve had the Falken’s on my Subaru for the last 3 years and have been extremely impressed, the traction and longevity has been unmatched to other tires I’ve run. Below is my thread on FTE regarding the tires.

Another option would be the Hankook Dynpro ATM, I have them on my GF’s Commander they are also an excellent tire.

Pete, I too live in mountainous Upstate NY. I swear by the 20" Michelin tires that I have on my 2016 F-350 They wear well, Great traction for plowing and daily driving and are quiet.

KO2's are by far the best ...... not sure why you got only 40K. It's our #1 selling brand of on/off road tires

I ran KO2's on a 12 Ram 2500 CTD for 3 years before trading in on a 2018. Absolutely the best tire in the snow. As far as wear, I only had around 28000 on them before trading. I would say they were about 2/3 rds worn
I towed 9300 lb 5th wheel for 1/2 the time.
I had zero complaints with them
