new tow vehicle

My 2006 Durango with the 4.7l and 3.55 gears really struggled keeping speed on the interstate pulling my 2008 26bh. I purchased a 97 GMC Suburban K2500 to take on the towing duties. The Suburban has a 4.10 gear ratio and the 4l80e trans. i have added new body style towing mirrors and Mag-hytec trans pan and temp guage. I am going to see how it tows, I might have to replace or add a bigger trans cooler and maybe some airbags or helper springs.

The Suburban is a great tow vehicle when matched with the right TT..., and it sounds like your combination should do just fine once you dial-in all the necessary hardware.
