Nexen Tires

I'm taking delivery on a 2018 RAM 3500 next week and I see Dodge is using Nexen tires on their duallies. Anyone have any experience with this brand?

I have them...not a fan! Watch for cupping & make sure that your truck had an alignment...my truck was never aligned from the factory.

Did you purchase your truck new, and if so, how did you know it was not aligned and did they pay for the alignment? It's odd that a new truck straight from the factory would not have been aligned........the price you have to pay for those beast should come all ready to roll.

Nexen Tires

I purchased the truck brand new with 16 miles. After driving about 2k miles, I noticed the front passenger tire was starting to cup. I took it to the dealership closest to my house (not where I bought it). They replaced the 2 front tires with new Nexen’s, rotated tires, and did alignment. I had the truck for about 3 months at that point and had not “abused” the truck in any way. The alignment was way out and the mechanic, not the service advisor, told me that he had been seeing a bunch come from the factory without an alignment.

I should add that they did all of this under warranty...didn’t cost me a dime.

Thanks for the heads up. I will definitely keep an eye on it. What pressures do you run when not towing?

80 in the front, 65 in the rears both towing and not. What it says in the door...

It’s not my daily driver...bought it new in February ‘17 and I have about 8,500 miles now. I love my truck, but honestly I think they are all pretty nice.
