That trailer is a 1975 Cox galvanized boat trailer with a treated lumber rack built on top, which is merely tied down to the trailer so it can be removed. The side boards are about 1.5 inches higher then the floor of the rack. It holds 120 pots as loaded in the picture. I bought that trailer in 1986 and it served double duty as a boat trailer/pot trailer until I bought a new boat trailer 6 yrs ago. It is now exclusively a pot trailer. Now here`s one you may find hard to believe, even I do sometimes - I have bearing buddies on the wheels and grease it after almost each use (no brakes of course to get grease on). The bearings have NEVER been manually repacked since I bought the trailer and this is after countless times of salt water immersion. Mr.T And the wheels have no excess play in them now. I`m a believer in bearing buddies for boat trailers.
