Wink First TV.

This is my 2006 Chevy Trailblazer. It has a 4.2 L inline 6 that puts out 291 hp. It is suppose to pull 6200 lbs. I guess I am going to find out the hardway. I imagine that I am going to have to be careful about loading my 4500 lb empty 2008 Jay Flight 26BH.

2007 Escalade ESV

Perhaps a little overkill for the campsite, and so much bling it would make Richard Simmons blush, but it's not easy finding something with room for 7, all of our gear and enough omph left over for the TT.

But I'm sure the great mileage will more then make up for it.

In third gear, I have had no want for more power. But fuel efficiency is horrible (around 10 mpg or less)!!! Unless you have some stretches of level travel, no head wind, or can draft a little -- then you can put it in D, and get around 12 -13. I put 400 miles on mine Memorial day weekend (with a 3200 lb rv fully loaded and averaged around 12 mpg using D where it ws feasible.

To me, getting 18 - 19 mpg when I'm not towing makes up a lot. I hade an F150 that got 14 mpg towing a pop up, but it only got 16 mpg for daily use, which was a lot more often than towing. I LOVE the Trailblazer.

Edit: Install a transmission cooler on that Trailblazer!!

Our 2003 Chevy C3500, 75,000 miles, turbo deisel, allison trans, billet aluminum wheels, blue ghost flames, graphite leather interior, and every option you can think of.

I like to think of it as a Cadillac with a patio.

Smile Chevy Silverado 3500HD Crew Cab Diesel

Before we upgraded to our Jayco Eagle, we pulled a travel trailer with a Chevy Silverado 1500. We were never really satisfied with the way that truck towed. So, before we purchased a new camper, I told my husband to go trade his truck for something that would pull any camper that we might buy.
Here's what he got. Yep, it'll pull anything. Love it.
