It sits nose high like crazy.
I'm thinking about upgrading to an eagle or going travel trailer.
What year truck?

EDIT: I see you have a 2015 Duramax now that I read your sig

I have the same trailer as spepi and a 2500HD and she rides pretty level. Picture is an empty trailer so should sit even better once loaded. Not a Duramax though... But I would think the suspension is similar if not identical.

I also have the same camper, with my 2500 CTD and its not that nose high. I've already towed mine over 900 miles.
Maybe you should look into suspension settings & hitch options 1st, before changing campers. Also I have the 16" upgrade wheel package.

My 2014 sat a little lower than this one does. The 15.5 has a deeper bed and sits higher.
When I load up today I'll be loading all my gear in the forward part of the trailer. Maybe it will help.

Photo of my new 2016 Jayfeather 23RLSW along with my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD.

3.0 Liter V6 eco diesel. 240 HP, 420 Lb/Ft of torque. Plenty of hill pulling power and great fuel economy.Click image for larger version

Good friend of mine has the same one in black. He tows a big boat with it. I used it one time to tow my boat which weighs 14,000 pounds (boat and trailer) and that truck towed it like it wasn't even there.

Love the jake brake too. I didn't even have to step on the brakes until coming to a stop. Just let off the gas (diesel) and she slows right down.

Yeah they are impressive. I've had a 14k directional drill behind this one and it handled it well. My first Ram truck and I love it.

I stayed with the 6.0L Vortec.

I was leaning toward the diesel for the last two years, but at the end of the day the gasser would meet all my present and future planned travel/towing needs.

A new TT is in the future, but will be well within the new TV's capabilities....., I don't have a need for a nice big heavy 5th wheel

Bob
