Couldn't resist - 2002 Avalanche - 2500 - 8.1L, 4x4, fully optioned. Pulling a 2017 29RKS.
These are awsome towing machines and getting hard to find.

Your ram 3500 tow the same as my 2500 but my payload is 3,300 which is good for me also but how do you like the ride of your ram? I think sometimes that I wish I would have bought a 3500.

Big1, I looked for a 2500 and couldn't find one! I know the towing was the similar, but an extra 600-700lbs of payload. I think the ride is fine! Stiffer than our 1/2 ton but not bad. No regrets here!

The tow rating for conventional towing is 12,500 lbs and my payload is 3,000 lbs. perfect for what I do.

The grey Durango even matches the grey on the side of the Launch. We make a pretty picture going down the road. Just wish spring would get here

On Black Friday I traded my '12 Tundra Double Cab 4.6L V8, 4.10 rear end with 26.4 gallon gas tank for this '17 Tundra Crewmax with the 5.7L, 4.30 rear end and 38 gallon gas tank. Don't mind how dirty it is with all the road salt...

Congrats! Nice, so have you tow your trailer with your new truck yet I know that since you do have more power that it will be a little easier.

How's the Tundra do? Currently using a Landcruiser with same engine, curious how the longer wheelbase feels?

Haven't towed the TT with the '17 Tundra yet, however my '12 TT handled it very nicely. Both trucks have the same wheelbase, so I don't think there will to much difference in the handling department. Power wise, the '17 has the 5.7L vs the 4.6L in the '12 so I can't wait to see how much better that will be. Plus the '17 has the new 38 gallon gas tank! That will be real nice compared to the 26.4 gallon tank I had in the last one.

Any go wrong with the Tundra. Consumer reports rated them the highest out of all the 1/2 tons

Good choice.

If I didn't need the diesel then I would seriously consider one.

Our Landcruiser has the same power-plant, has never been shy on power, 8 mpg keeps my foot in check. Wheelbase will be a huge plus. Have a great time in it.

Pictures of your Tow Vehicle

Took the kids mudding with the new found power on the truck.

Always fun to see them smile as big as they can and laugh in the back seat.

Our new last summer Ram 3500 on the first leg of a 10 night trip up the north shore in MN. This was taken in Moose Lake where we spent the first two nights.
