Beautiful truck Rick. Night/day difference pulling with the 6.7L as it loves to tow! Born in Louisville, Kentucky

Just wanted to get in on this

Real NICE tow rigs everyone. Boy there sure are a variety of different makes and models out there. All look in Excellent condition for some of the ages. Mine is a 2008 , I bought it new and it now has 22,000 mile on it. I do not use it during the winter. Garage kept. I love it. Just wish it was four door, I bought it before I knew we were going to have my son. Just traded my four door truck. But this truck is AWSOME otherwise. Lots of pull power.

Right before our trip to Disney World last week, my Rover started making weird noises, and then threw a "Reduced Engine Performance" message that immediately cleared. We made the decision to not drive it the almost 2000 miles, and set up a free weight distributing hitch that I had gotten from a co-worker to use our 2013 Dodge Durango Citadel (V6) to pull it. The trip went well, but I really missed the extra horsepower that the Rover has during the trip on I-75 in Southern GA and Florida...

This is my TV. This bruiser is a 1985 Chevy K20 and actually does pretty well considering it is 30 years old. I get where I need, it just takes a little longer and I get to enjoy the ride.

2015 Ford F-150 3.5L EcoBoost

We got this 2015 Ford F-150 with the 3.5L EcoBoost and 3.55 geared rearend last summer to pull our 2015 Jayco Whitehawk 24RDB. So far I am very happy with the truck because it pulls like a diesel, you don't even know the camper is back there. Pulling the trailer I have gotten as low as 10.2MPG fighting a headwind and as high as 13.3MPG. That is running the interstate at 65MPH.

Around town I get between 18.8 and 19.5 MPG. On the highway I get 20 to 21.5MPG. I actually got 23.5MPG one day going to my parents on two lane roads driving 60MPH. I was really happy with that. But I would say the 20 to 21MPG is more accurate on the highway.

I'm thinking about upgrading to an eagle or going travel trailer.
