Pinbox and Capture Plate

Hello we are buying a 2018 28.5 rsts HT 5th wheel the trailer is 180 miles away and won't be getting till next weekend. I have a used pullrite 2700 hitch and a brand new capture plate with the number 65 cut in it. How can I find out if this plate will work.

Contact the seller of 5th wheel and ask what pin box is on the trailer. My lippert pin box had a sticker on it. Then go to Pull Rite website and cross reference that number pin box to the correct capture plate.If in doubt pull rite makes a universal plate. You should be able to figure it out form there. Pull rite should also be able to tell you what that "65" plate will fit also.

The 65 means it is a universal capture plate. Will work with any pin box.
