Question about my 2010 6.4 L Ford Powerstroke

I Tow with a 2010 6.4L Ford Powerstroke and I pull a 2011 330rlts TT with a dry weight of 8750lbs.
I went camping this weekend and I noticed during my trip while I was towing at Highway speed (70 +or- mph) while pulling my TT uphills on the interstate it felt like my transmission started slipping. It felt like a shutter. When the transmission dropped into a lower gear the shuttering did feel like it went away. Has anyone else felt this and is this something I should be concerned with?
With out the TT my truck operates normally.

I could possibly be the torque converter going in and out of lockup.

My last Dodge would do that at times. I would not let that shuttering happen if possible. Try running a gear lower on the hills and it may not do it. You should also make sure that tow haul is engaged.

I would talk to the service manager at the Ford dealer. You may have a sensor going out. Your truck should still be under warranty.
