Question on cat scale, 3 step weigh.

"On step #1" does the ball hitch stay on the truck during truck only weighing or is disconnected and stays with the trailer? (my thinking it stays with trailer)

I also have a Sherline Trailer Tongue Scale.

1. Truck + camper hooked up (WDH engaged)
