Ram 3500 Towing Question

I just purchased a White Hawk 32BH. GVWR is right at 10k and the tongue weight is right at 1,100. I have a 2018 Ram Cummins Dually 4x4 that can tow 30k so I know I have plenty of truck. The question is do I even need a weight distribution hitch? I could see maybe sway control but that would be all. The truck has the factory air bag system for trailer leveling, also.

Looking for opinions.

Depends on how much your front axle "unloads" when you strap the trailer on.

If it's within spec, no need for WDH. If it's lifting too much, then you'd be advised to use a WDH.

Common misconception about WDH; its purpose is to return weight to the front axle that was removed by the lever action of the trailer on the bumper. A lot of people think it's to "level" the rig.

If you're not lifting any weight off the front axle in your setup, there's no need for a WDH.
