RAM alternator fuse

Recently had the occasion of getting a "low battery voltage" message on my RAM 3500 with dual batteries. I diagnosed it to a faulty Z-Case 250 amp fuse that sits atop the alternator battery connection. Chrysler # 68241002AA, Advance Auto # ZCAS250XP. In my case, the fuse was reading resistance on ohmmeter. Alternator was putting out 10 volts. Fuse reading should have been open or closed. It was partially burned out. I suggest carrying a spare. Could leave you stranded.

Thanks for the tip. I should get one just in case. I have power cables going into the bed for an inverter and they are off one of those fuses.
