Wonder if this will make it to production. Some interesting ideas included in this truck.

Wow...this RAM would not fit in 95% of the typical residential garages in the US. Neat ideas, like you mentioned though. I hope they make it to production.

Crabman, the Mayan calander ends on Dec 21, 2012. The end of the world. I am thinking about just charging everything in sight because there will not be a Dec 22, 2012. I won't have to pay for it and nobody will know or care cause we will all be gone. Dosen't that make sense??
Just incase the end dosn't come I think I will keep the old truck.

I wonder how you would manage 1,700 miles without the pit stops at the gas stations you would pass ? The DW would hate that, and then there is the need to stop along the road for the dawg to potty. Think I'll just stick with my Ford for the duration and save a ton of $$ for camping fees.

There was a article in Truck Trends about this truck. I carry 106 gallons of fuel with me, and it isn't to go any distance without stopping, however, being able to go without the hassle of refueling the truck without the trailer on the back. It also come in handy when stuck on a closed interstate. Some places in Indiana won't let a RV fuel up in the truck lanes because the clerk is to lazy to punch the tax button on the register. And, it has happened. Love's truck stop in Pittsboro Indiana is one of them.
Regards,

Chances are you could buy a White or Volvo for about the same money and be more comfortable.

Holy fuel mileage Batman, that truck will go 1700 miles on 170 gallons of diesel. I sure hope that is towing miles and not running empty.

I just can't bring myself to drive a White or Volvo with an automatic transmission. Wonder if they will give me one with a 10 speed?
