Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control

Lots of questions about Andersen, Blue Ox and other hitch systems in this forum. I'm looking at the Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control - Trunnion - 6K GTW, 600 TW for my Jay Flight 175RD. I've run Reese products with good results for many years. Also considering other options. Anyone here have any experience using the Reese Steadi-Flex system?

For that small of a trailer, a 4 point hitch isn't mandatory. You might consider a Fastway E2. It's about $200 less. My trailer is about 1k lbs. heavier than yours and I'm thrilled with the performance of my E2. Fastway is the 2 point version of the Equalizer E4 (same company). Either way you really can't go wrong with the Reese.

Thanks for the info! First I've heard of the Fastway. Sounds like it might be a good option.
I definitely want sway control, and it looks like the Fastway E2 has it.

You're welcome! Etrailer sells both of these hitches. Give them a call and ask questions. That's how I ended up with the E2 when the bars of my old generic hitch wore out and could not get replacement bars. The Fastway was the one they recommended and also said it's their best selling hitch. They are super knowledgeable and great to talk to over the phone. Their prices are very competitive also.

We must be on the same wavelength! LOL I wound up on their site and saw they sold both systems. I suspect I will go with the Fastway E2. Being an ole skinflint, I can't pass up on saving about $200.00. Savings will help towards a brake controller.

Can't go wrong with a Prodigy brake controller.

Thanks for the heads up! The Prodigy, Curt Spectrum, Redarc Tow-Pro and OEM Toyota are the ones I'm looking at so far.

My original. Prodigy(old) quit on the road. Stopped at a camping world swapped out no charge and told me to get back to traveling!!
Can't go wrong with that.
