Reese titan 16K

Anybody running this hitch, bought it last year I like the cast head but the thing makes a ton of noise, called reese they sent me sound deading stick on pads it helped a little. Hitch has approx. 3/16" play between head and hitch base, reese said they need that gap for assembly. I'm considering making wear plates to fill the gap.

I run one without any complaints. But perhaps my hearing is not as astute as yours or mybe I just have the radio turned up t where I don't notice the noise from the hitch.

First one lasted about 4 weeks, second one not much better, third one different model is doing well about 10000 K on it. On the first two the bushings were defective and Reese did not have a fix at that time 2013.

Did Reese defect the hitch? Which model did you go with?

Will never have another Reese for all of your problems and more.Hated ours.

have had a 15 K Reese and a 16K Draw-tite which is the same as Reese. They were both great to use.
