Ridgeline and WDH

We're towing our x23b with a 07 Ridgeline. So far we haven't had any problems other than trying to pull a billboard 70 mph so we just slow down. I keep seeing on different forums that Honda doesn't recommend weight distribution hitches. For the life of me I cannot find this in my owners manual or anywhere else.
Where did this come from?

..... may be on some of the smaller Honda vehicles ....., most vehicle manufactures have some models that a WDH isn't recommended, and in most cases it has to do with the vehicle's frame design (Uni-body, etc.).

Honda owners manuals says something like it does not recommend use of a incorrectly adjusted wdh. I use one and have had no issues.

Thanks, I thought maybe I missed a Honda technical bulletin.
