Rock Shields

I am set up to tow my Toyota Rav4 with my Alante 31V and don't want broken headlights/windshield. I have a Roadmaster tow system and want to know what works best: Guardian Rock Shield, Tow Defender, Brush Style Mud Flaps. One, two or all three?

We would vote for all three.

Towing my Jeep behind my Seneca I have found the Jeep gets really dirty but have not gotten any chips or anything. I wonder if one of these guards would keep road grime down?

One note we just found on a GMC service bulletin for our 2013 Terrain;

"Use of a shield mounted in front of the vehicle grille could restrict airflow and cause damage to the transmission. The repairs would not be covered by the vehicle warranty. If using a shield, only use one that attaches to the towing vehicle."

Interesting. I always thought the engine had to be running to turn the transmission pump, to circulate fluid through the cooler. Maybe on that vehicle it's driven by the transaxle?
