Rough Shifting 2018 F-150

Is anyone else experiencing rough shifting with their 10 speed automatic transmission? Haven't noticed it while towing but it does it every day when not towing. Rough shift usually happens between 3rd and 4th gears and sometimes going into 5th gear. Any suggestions on where to start to find a remedy for this issue? Thank you in advance for your replies. Happy Travels to everyone.

My 2018 did have some hard shifts when it was first new. Now, with 20+K on it, I don't notice it anymore. Mine was rough downshifting, especially between 3rd and 2nd in Tow-Haul. I don't know how much "learning" the trans does over time, but mine has really smoothed out with time.

There has been some discussion over at ford-trucks.com on the subject, and in fact I believe I posted my concerns with my rough downshifts over there at one point. You may want to look around over there for some additional information.

Yah, mine does the same thing. Waiting to have it looked at during next oil change.

I used to have a hard downshift when in sport mode.
How many miles on truck? Your tranny has a learn mode to tailor itself to your particular style of driving. Pull the negative cable on the battery for at least 30 mins and the truck will start to learn from scratch again.
If in a hurry, you can also remove your battery cables and jumper them together in order to bleed off any capacitance and reset everything. I have done it both ways.

I have 14,000 miles on my truck. Thank you for the info AmericanBiker. I'll give it a try. I'll keep everyone posted on whether it works on my truck like it did on yours. Safe Travels to each and everyone.
