Rvi2, brake buddy vantage or roadmaster even brake

2015 Redhawk 31xl towing a 2014 GMC Acadia-4850lbs

Looking for pro's and cons of supplemental braking systems:

RVI2
Brake Buddy Vantage select
or
Roadmaster Even Brake

I wanted a permanent braking system (break buddy stealth) but CW said
could not be installed under front seat due to lack of room. If installed in 2nd row box would be in the way of a passengers feet. Cable wasn't long enough to run the box behind the 3rd row. CW contacted manufacturer and said there isn't a longer cable.

I'm sure I'm opening a can of worms but I would love to hear what you have to say about the systems!

Hi Debra.

I just noted the date of your post and realized that you probably already made a decision. That being said, which system did you end up with ?

I too have been looking at a braking system to install and as you I looked at Blu Ox and the CW products. I also looked at http://www.readybrake.com/

I just can't see spending $3K plus to set up and Ready Brake is about 1/2 the price. I've added the webpage above for you to check out. They're also on YouTube.

Some of the RV's are using the Ready Brake and really like them.

Hello GrayHawk51
Yes, we went with the RVI2. The unit itself is small, many positive reviews and ease of use sold me on it. Haven't had any significant drive time with the RVI2 so can't comment on how I like it!
