Shocks & Rear Sway Bar - 2015 Ford F-250 6.2
I am pre planning to upgrade the shocks on our 2015 F250 6.2 Gas FX4. The FoMoCo Rancho stickerd shocks have about had it after 30,000 miles.
I have researched enough to see that Bilsteins are highly recommended but what Model?
Any other suggestions?
Also, although I have not researched it much, what are the options for adding a rear sway bar to an F250?

Check out www.sdtrucksprings.com They carry good products that will fit your truck. Just input your make and model and it will show you what fits your truck.

I bought my Air Lifts 5000's from SDTS. Taking a look again I believe I will go with the Bilstein HD (Blue & Yellow) on all 4 corners, a Hellwig 1-1/4" Dia Sway Bar and potentially a Bilstein Steeing Stabilizer.
We are 1,000 miles into our 3,000 mile Summer Camping Trip and while the F250 is doing a great job (I am glad I installed the Air Bags) including the 6.2 through the Smokeys I believe an upgrade would improve the overall handling and feel of the truck.
Anyone have experience installing these Shocks and/or Sway Bar and how was the improvement in handling?
Thanks...

New shocks will help. My best upgrade to my 2500 TV was the load rite air bags. That coupled with the Reese load leveling hitch and sway control, tows much better.
I can get the load dispersed better with everything level.

Ranchos seem to wear out fast.. Mine went from being too stiff to doing nothing real fast..
I put a HELLWIG rear sway bar on my truck.. Hellwig - Load and Sway Control Products Ask for Nancy Souza she is GREAT to work with.. (I get nothing for this I just like the product and the person) 800-367-5480

Just wanted to update this thread in case someone is doing some research in the future.
I ended up installing the Bilstein HD's (Yellow) all the way around, a standard Hellwig Rear Sway Bar, not the BigWig and a Bilstein Steering Stabilizer shock up front.
Made a world of difference... the stock FoMoCo Ranchos were worn slap out as well as the steering stabilizer shock. I changed these at approximately 45,000 a few months back, I am at 55,000 now with no issues and still riding smooth (for an F250) and less roll in the rear.

Good to know thanks - I just upgraded to a 2016 Leftover F250 and installed the Airlift 5000's today (Kind of a pain in the ass working alone). I'm considering t he Bilsteins even though my truck is new...

The 5100 series I believe are the same, if not better valving than the yellow Bilstiens. If ya got a little more money, might want to check out the FOX 2.0s, even better ride quality. The rear sway bars are great, look into upgrading the front too, I personally like the biggest you can get. Next you'll be looking at traction bars
