Suspension Air bag wires ruptured

Hey all-

Was inflating my Firestone airbags on my 2012 ram 3500.

Got to about 45 psi and heard a bang. Walked around truck to inspect and noticed the wires that wrap around the airbag burst. Air is still being held.

I have ordered new bags, but was wondering if anyone has encountered this.

The wires look very rusty. The bags are never aired down lower than 10psi.

Would this be them just being old?
