sway control or built in sway control?

The dealer has 2 WDH. One has sway control and the other has "built in sway control". Not sure of the difference other than $150. The dealer said with out the built in you have to take off for backing.
Is there other differences to make it worth the cost?

From my personal use I think integrated away control is the best.

Welcome to JOF

I agree, a WDH with integrated sway control is desired.

What brand/model of WDH with integrate sway control was your dealership recommending? I ask this because sometimes RV dealerships get a little confused on what a "true" WDH with integrated sway control looks like.

Equal-i-zer brand WDH and Reese Strait Line brand WDH are the most common.

Bob

They will upsell but I would do research on the brand they sell and look for reviews .... I have a sway control mounted on the side and it works well but I know others like the integrated

This is the hitch I went with after purchasing our X23B. So far have not any issues and it goes on and off very easy.
