Had Timbrens on my previous RAM 1500, and adding them was the FIRST modification that I made on my 2500 when I bought it.

So what do the timbrens do? I thought they bolted onto overload leaf springs too? Obviously I have no idea what they are!

All that they are, are cushioned bump-stops that replace the factory stops. Factory stops allow 4 or 5 inches of spring flex, before the factory stop hits. Timbrens "hit" at " or 1", and then compress as additional weight is applied.

You remove the factory bumpstops and the Timbrens are installed in their place. Another rear suspension enhancement system that other members have good success with is the Roadmaster Active Suspension system.

Must have been typing at the same time as Fire Instructor
