Tonneau Cover Options

I have a RAM 3500 DRW and moving up to a 5th wheel. Will most likely get a BW companion hitch to tow the 5th. However, would like to cover the bed as I would like to put other stuff in it and also to hide the hitch when not in use.

Will I have any clearance issues adding a folding hard tonneau cover? Issues like top of the hitch to the cover OR clearance issues from the 5th while the cover is folded? Any recommendations on the brand?

I have a Gator soft Tri-fold and love it. I have the same hitch and have no clearance problems at all. I have a 40 gallon auxiliary tank in my bed and had to figure how to get to the fill cap. I came up with a hatch cover made of similar material and held down with Velcro strips. It's lasted 2 1/2 years but the material shrunk over time and I need to replace that piece. Very easy to do.

I have a Gator soft cover with the same roll-up design as AKRUEBBE. It is great and not expensive. The first one I bought was a tri-fold and with a short bed truck, I had clearance problems between the hitch and the folded up cover. Keeps the bed and hitch covered. Watertight even in a carwash.

I'm going with a Bakflip MX4 on my new Super Duty. On the 6.5' bed it's a 4-panel folding cover, so it should easily be far enough forward to keep clear from the 5th wheel.
