Rooster,
Welcome and congrats on the new rig!!!!
WOW!!!! That is about all I can say about some of the replies in this thread. Stating not to listen to those who suggest that trailer is 2500/3500 territory because they have witnessed or towed nearly twice the limits or twice that weight, or whatever ....with a 1500/suv, so you will be fine with the Ram 1500 is crazy! For arguements sake, what is the yellow sticker in the drivers door jamb state the payload of your truck is? Will state "All passengers and cargo not to exceed XXXXlbs". Factory tw is almost 1100lbs before loading the trailer ( factory 910lb tw + ~160lbs for 2-30lb tanks and battery).
As you can see in my signature, we have a '16 32 BHDS also. We were not loaded 100% when I weighed our rig as we just had picked the trailer up late on a Thu evening, loaded it Fri and headed out Fri afternoon.
Here is our weights "mostly" loaded.

Truck 7800lbs
Trailer 8860lbs
TW 1400lbs
All water tanks (fresh, gray, black) were empty. Only water in the lines and hw tank. We have 1500lb wd bars as well.
Things not loaded or added after weighing: Boys stuff: clothes, tv, few "toys" for 12yo's, shelves in wardrobes, fence post sleeves mod, and the Jayco factory rear cargo hitch/ bike rack/ bikes (may be missing an item or two...). Not sure what the tw is now, but figure about 9200lbs loaded, ready to go now.
I know you posted you are now looking at a 2500. I have heard great things about the new 6.4!!! Should tow the 32 BHDS without any issues!!! Consider looking into a 2.5" shank for the wdh.
Good luck!!!
