Towing a 5th wheel

My brother bought a new truck and had to get a new hitch and sidewinder pin box because his truck bed is 5’8”. The parts haven’t come in yet but asked to borrow my truck to tow his 5th wheel this weekend. I have a f250 with 6’5” box with a Reese elite hitch. My Jayco has a revolution pin box on it. Other than tight turns does anyone think this will work with his stationary pin box ? Thanks for any input

If you have been towing a fifth wheel with your truck, you know what to look for in clearance during a maneuver. You would have to be the one to answer your question. If someone on this forum suggest it should work, they won't be stepping up to pay for rear cab damage if that happens. Of course that's what insurance is for.

I have a short bed f350. I tow an eagle ht. I have my revolution pin box locked out. I have never had an issue with clearance while turning.

Aaahhh, love my 8 foot beds! Glad it wasn't an issue.
