Towing a New SKYLARK Trailer witha Jeep Grand Cherokee

I hope you can help me out ? I have a new Skylark purchased last Fall. I have installed the same weight distribution hitch as yours. I noticed on your picture that the two brackets which hold the bars are a lot further back then mine. You must have installed them under your TT ? Could you take a few more photos of this area for me ?

Welcome to the JOF, adaigle. If you know the model of Reese WDH you have, you can access the installation instructions online. Check and see what the recommended / specified distance is from the ball coupler to the bracket then you can contrast that measurement with yours.

I would like to see what the modifications were to do the lift. I have the Skylark and would like to do the lift but it seems pretty complex the way that it is mounted to the frame.

That trailer is so light you don't need anything other than a dropped drawbar.

Possible..., all depends on the TV receiver's "weight carrying" rating, and/or the TT's loaded tongue weight.

I am not worried about the weight. What I need is a way to improve the clearance under the trailer.

I was pulling a Skylark with a jeep liberty diesel it did great
