After looking at your pic, it reminded me of all of the TT and TV's I saw over the holiday week-end that were not set up right.

DW would have me loaded down like that if she could. I keep reminding her that firewood can be bought at just about any camp ground and that buying local is better for the environment.

I try to seek out the local firewood providers that supply bulk product for high volume users...folks that heat their house with wood. I buy a full truck load (6.5' bed) if I'm camping for 7 days or more. The bulk wood guys usually have much dryer wood than the camp store that sells fresh cut slabwood. When we camp in Iosco County we have a supplier that we've been dealing with for many years and we give him a call a week before we arrive to make arrangements.

Down here in Southern Indiana, we have no choice but to buy firewood that meets the DNR criteria due to the wood borer problems. They require a certified stamp from the seller as well as no bark on the firewood.
