Towing weight question

I知 looking for a class A RV and have a question about towing capacity (sorry, I知 a newbie). The Jayco Precept 34G has a GVWR of 22,000, a GCWR of 26,000 but the towing capacity says it痴 5000. I知 not following that math. Also, I have a GMC Denali that has a curb weight of 5482. Could I flat tow it safely, or no? If not, I知 thinking the 36A might be a better choice with a GCWR of 26,000 and a GCWR of 30,000. Any help is much appreciated!!
