Towing With Ram 3500 4wd
Anyone towing a 275 RLTS Jayco with a 3500 ram, any advice greatly appreciated.

I don't have a Ram or the same 5er but you have plenty of truck. Diesel would generally always be better towing of course, but I pulled a similar weight 5er with gas, just expect some high rpms in hilly or mountain areas. Adjust your mirrors to see trailer tires if possible, make your turns wide, watch out for low hanging tree branches and overpasses, know your height.

I should have been clearer on my question. I was wanting to know more about bed clearance and how level the 275 RLTS fifth wheel road connected to a Ram 3500 4 wheel drive.

i have a 18 4x4 SB 2500 Ram w/Cummings and tow a 321 RSTS. I went with the Reese Gooseneck. It has plenty of adjustability to dial in bed clearance. Prior to the Reese i had a Demco Autoslide. That system also has plenty of adjustability for bed clearance. The Demco by far has greater turning radius but i have adapted to the limits of the Reese which is very close to 90 degrees. The only reason i switched from Demco to the Reese was because we do a lot of boon docking camping and tend to park on uneven surface, i.e. Lake shore parking. Hitching and Un-hitching on these uneven surfaces can be very challenging,. The gooseneck option resolves these issues. And the added benefit with the goose-ball, you get your whole truck bed for storage etc. Plan out where you will spend your time towing, hitching and un-hitching and plan your hitch purchase accordantly.

Thank you to everyone for the advice, we picked up our used 27.5 RLTS today and I worry more than I should. The unit had the axles flipped, with the morryde CRE3000 and the taller tires. I had to do no adjusting on the husky hitch. Had plenty of bed clearance 6 inches, the nose rides a little high but no difference than when I pulled our previous fifth wheel,(Redwood 36FL) Now the real chore of loading it for first trip.

Well we took the Jayco out for 3 nights on shake down short trip. Everything worked fine with no problems. We feel we got ourselves a great used fifth wheel.
