Trailer being Towed with Ford F-150 Ecoboost?

Just curious (fun) to see if anyone else is towing a Jay Flight 22FB (or close) with their 3.5L EcoBoost. Since I just got the new Eco, curiosity is flourishing......

IMHO you would do best by visiting a local CAT Scale and get your real weights and compare them to your weight ratings.
The CAT Scale is your friend.

Been there a number of times with this trailer and know I am well within the EB towing and payload limits. I towed this trailer with an old Chev. 4.8L and 3.42 rear axle.

Will certainly have this rig weighed when I have the first 1000 miles on the truck and can load her up and tow to the scales.

I was just curious as to how others liked the combination and any thoughts, tips, etc. that might be suggested.

Hopefully, you're just asking how it goes down the down because you have nothing to worry about as far as weights and towing go. Unless I'm mistaken, every configuration of the F150 with the 3.5 Eco is rated north of 10k in towing capacity. Skip the scales until you get a bigger TT. The 22B (4125 dry / 6500 GVWR and a hitch weight of 510lbs) is so far under your numbers as to make the scales unnecessary. FWIW, everyone seems to be raving about this motor.

I towed an x20e with a F150 3.5 Eco for a couple of years. Pulled the camper like a dream. 8 hours of towing and I'm ready for more. The low rpm peak torque is awesome. Recently purchased a 26RKS flight, but haven't towed it yet.

We used to have this very combination... an F150 EcoBoost and a 22FB. No problems whatsoever and plenty of HP and torque to do the job. Installed a Reese Dual Cam hitch and the 22FB towed straight as an arrow with zero sway.

Congratulations on the new F150 EB! I've been pulling my Eagle 266RKS FULL-TIME for a year and 8 month's now, without any problems at all. Love the way the turbos kick in while climbing a hill. With cruise and toe/haul mode, speed drops from 63 mph to 60; then the tranny downshifts and the speed goes right back up to 63.

My set-up (with 20" wheels) calls for 35 psi in all 4 tires. When towing, I pump the back tires to 48 psi (max. is 50), and have no sway problems . . . well, just a little when a semi goes around me.

You should have no problem pulling your 22FB.

I have a 2014 22FB, and I had the dodge ram with the 4.7L V8 and I had no problems pulling the camper, I since bought a Dodge ram with the 5.7 hemi and its very easy to pull. from what I have heard about the eco boost, you will have no problem.

I'm pullling an X213 w/a 2013 Ecoboost. The more I drive this truck, the more I love it!

We're pulling a 28BHBE with our '13 Ecoboost. Surprisingly it handles pretty well with being close to payload capacity.
