Tranny cooler on 2000 LT Blazer?

We were told by our local transmission shop that adding a tranny cooler on our Blazer was near impossible...could be done, but will be very expensive.($500+)
Our Blazer has the 4.3L, 3.42 rear end and it came with the Heavy Duty Towing Package, so it has the factory installed tranny cooling (which I've heard may not be enough.

We are pulling the X19H, 3600 lbs empty. We will never pull with water and we pack very light. We have an Equalizer hitch.

Maybe we need another opinion on the cooler...others have installed tranny coolers in Blazers.

Any suggestions and info appreciated... !!!

Rick-- Did your trans guy mention replacing the oem cooler with a larger one, that would be an option. Larry

It shouldn't be that hard/expensive. Try going to a trailer/hitch shop. They should be able to help you out.
